Baltimore Department of Public Works - Bureau of Water and Wastewater provides drinking water and wastewater services to a population of around 1.8 million in Baltimore City and 4 surrounding counties. On January 25th, 2023 at the American Water Summit 2023, Bureau Head Yosef Kebede, accepted the offer for membership into the Leading Utilities of the World network and received a ‘Golden Tap’ award for utility performance, representing the achievement of the highest level of utility service.
