EYATH S.A. is the public water and wastewater utility serving over 1.2 million people in Thessaloniki, Greece. It operates an extensive network across the metropolitan area, providing reliable drinking water and sanitation services. EYATH is leading digital transformation in the sector through smart metering and real-time system monitoring, while also promoting water conservation and sustainability. Recent initiatives include public drinking fountains, energy-efficient infrastructure upgrades, and efforts to reduce non-revenue water, positioning EYATH as a forward-looking utility in the Greek water sector. On 13th May 2025, at the Global Water Summit in Paris, Chairman Agis Papadopoulos accepted the offer of membership into the Leading Utilities of the World network and received the Golden Tap award, recognising the achievement of highest level of utility service.
