Municipal District Services (MDS-Aqualia) is a water and wastewater management company based in Katy, Texas, serving communities across the Greater Houston area. Established in 2007, the company provides the operation, maintenance and management of water and wastewater infrastructure for municipal utility districts, supporting reliable drinking water supplies and compliant wastewater treatment for more than 125,000 customer connections. Since 2024, MDS has been part of Aqualia, combining its local expertise with the international experience of a global water management group.

MDS-Aqualia operates across a region facing rapid growth and significant environmental pressures, including hurricanes, flooding and water-quality challenges. Its work spans the full operational lifecycle of local water systems, from treatment and distribution to wastewater collection and treatment. On 29th September 2026, at WEFTEC in New Orleans, MDS-Aqualia joined the Leading Utilities of the World network, represented by Rebecca Marcucci, Senior Executive Vice President.
