PWN serves 786, 960 municipal and commercial customers. The network is made up of more than 10,000 kms of pipeline, with the average use being 120 litres per person per day. PWN uses 95% surface water and 5% groundwater as their sources. Currently, PWN has 550 employees. On April 16, 2018 at the Global Water Summit 2018 in Paris, Joke Cuperus, Managing Director of PWN, accepted the offer for membership into the Leading Utilities of the World network and received a 'Golden Tap' award for utility performance, representing the achievement of the highest level of utility service.
