Sabesp provides the water and wastewater services to 375 of the municipalities of the state of Sao Paolo. Considered one of the world's largest wastewater company, it supplies nearly 30 million people with its services. Alone, it accounts for more than 30% of sanitation investments in Brazil. On 15th April 2024, at the Global Water Summit, Andre Salcedo, CEO of Sabesp, accepted the Golden Tap award, thereby confirming Sabesp as a member of the Leading Utilities of the World network and recognising its standing as one of the world's highest achieving water utilities.
