Seqwater is the bulk water authority to South East Queensland. Seqwater is one of Australia’s largest water businesses, supplying drinking water to more than 3 million people. Seqwater covers over 22,000 km² and manages $A11.2 billion of water supply infrastructure, including 600km of interconnected pipeline. In addition, Seqwater provides water irrigation to 1,200 rural customers and also essential flood mitigation services. On February 11, 2021 at the first Leading Utilities of the World Online Inauguration, Chief Executive Officer Neil Brennan, accepted the offer for membership into the Leading Utilities of the World network and received a 'Golden Tap' award for utility performance, representing the achievement of the highest level of utility service.
