WSSC provides water and wastewater services to a population of around 1.9 million. On January 25th, 2023 at the American Water Summit 2023, General Manager and CEO Kishia Powell, accepted the offer for membership into the Leading Utilities of the World network and received a ‘Golden Tap’ award for utility performance, representing the achievement of the highest level of utility service.
