This year’s Singapore International Water Week saw Leading Utilities of the World welcome in its newest member, SA Water. At the network’s inauguration event, Nicola Murphy, General Manager, Science and Strategy gave a presentation on the innovations her utility has employed to address its challenges before being awarded the Golden Tap trophy.
On joining Leading Utilities of the World, Nicola had the following to say:
“SA Water is pleased to join Leading Utilities of the World, an international community of innovative water utilities. By joining, we are demonstrating our willingness to share and support fellow utilities in an alliance committed to transparency, teamwork, and mutual assistance. This puts us at the heart of a movement to collectively drive sustainable water solutions globally.”
Furthermore, there were membership renewals for two current members who have been part of the network for five years. They are:
San Francisco Public Utility Commission, USA, represented by Paula Kehoe, Director of Water Resources.
Unitywater, Australia, represented by Anna Jackson, CEO.
Leading Utilities of the World will next be meeting in New Orleans at WEFTEC on 5th and 6th October 2024.
