Three new members join at Singapore International Water Week

Leading Utilities of the World expanded its global network during Singapore International Water Week 2026 with the inauguration of three new member utilities, further strengthening the collaboration of high-performing water and wastewater organisations committed to operational excellence, innovation, and long-term resilience.
The new members welcomed into the network are:
- Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Bureau of Waterworks, Japan, represented at the inauguration session by Director General for Technical Affairs Satoshi Suzuki
- TasWater, Australia, represented by Chief Executive Officer George Theo
- Waterschap Amstel, Gooi en Vecht (AGV), Netherlands, represented by Executive Board Member Sander Mager
With these additions, the network now comprises 89 utilities worldwide, reinforcing its position as a leading global platform for peer-to-peer learning and the exchange of best practice across the water sector.
On AGV becoming a member, Sander Mager said "The fact that we, as Waterschap Amstel, Gooi en Vecht, are now also member is a recognition of the innovative work our colleagues continue to carry out. [...] By actively both sharing and acquiring knowledge, we strengthen our expertise. Exchanging ideas with international partners provides new insights, inspiration and solutions for the challenges we face. We then apply this knowledge to create impact in our region."
Tokyo Bureau of Waterworks said "We are deeply honored to join the Leading Utilities of the World network.
